The Prayer for World Peace : by Goi Sensei

( I )
The mind of the Prayer for World Peace is an immense vibration of Light. So, the prayer isn’t the same as “Nam-Myōhō-Renge-Kyō*” or “Namu-Amida-Butsu*.” It’s also not the same as just thinking “Oh, God!”
The Prayer for World Peace connects you directly with Kyūse-no-Dai-kōmyō* or the Great Light of Salvation. So it is like turning a dial. When you pray the Prayer for World Peace, you are turning the dial of Dai-kōmyō-reidan. Then the Light abundantly flows into you.
Namu-Amida-Butsu” is a way of connecting to Amida Buddha, one Buddha. The Prayer for World Peace is not like that. It connects to all the Deities. That is the difference. All the deities come with it.
Other prayers are also answered. But they are connected to one Deity, to one great guardian Deity, to one Buddha. However, those who are not on the same vibration of a prayer will not be saved by the prayer. In contrast, the Prayer for World Peace connects you to all the Deities. That is why everyone will be saved.

Note:
Nam-Myōhō-Renge-Kyō : The mantra chanted by Nichiren Buddhism believers, which means ‘Devotion to the Mystic Law of the Lotus Sutra.’ (Refered to Wikipedia)
Namu-Amida-Butsu : The mantra chanted by Pure Land Buddhism believers, which means ‘I turn to rely on the Enlightened One immeasurable.’ (Referred to Wikipedia)
Kyūse-no-Dai-kōmyō : The Immense Light of a large-scale spiritual group that includes all the great saints and enlightened beings of the past, as well as all the guardian spirits and guardian divinities who are at work for the salvation of humanity on Earth.

But beyond that, you come into the Prayer for World Peace; when you feel hateful, you pray, “May Peace Prevail on Earth”; when you feel like saying, “That bastard!”, you pray, ” May Peace Prevail on Earth”; when you feel horrible, you pray, ” May Peace Prevail on Earth.” You throw all your thoughts and emotions into the Prayer for World Peace. Then your Gō-sōnen* will vanish without fail.
The Prayer for World Peace is the Divine Light. It will extinguish your Gō-sōnen, so you can throw all your Gō-sōnen into the Divine Light without caring about trivial things.
What should come out will come out. You don’t chase after what came out and say, “I’ve done such a bad thing.” or “I’ve had such a bad emotion.” or “I’ve said such a bad thing.” You don’t do such stupidity, worrying about such a thing. What is the use of doing that!
The religions of the past were wrong because that was how they preached people. They are all Kieteyuku Sugata°, the process where our past wrong thoughts appear to fade away. They are not the manifestation of genuine humanity. The true nature of humanity is the manifestation of Divine Mind. It is perfect harmony.
That is why you should be consistent in your sincerity. If you are constant with sincerity, the Divinities will help you without fail. You must firmly maintain this faith. You don’t care about your physical life. No matter how long you live, it will only be a hundred years.
However, what you do will live forever. Your state of mind and your every action will shine forth towards the future. They will shine forth for generations to come. When you pray the Prayer for World Peace, or pray for peace of the world, it will bring Light to your future descendants.
For this reason, you don’t care about minor matters but pray, “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” The one who stands at the top of Kyūse-no-Dai-kōmyō is ‘至聖先天老祖’’, or the Most Sacred Heavenly Deity who is the Great Saviour, also known as Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Kami* and Kyūse-no-Dai-kōmyō or the Great Light of Salvation, where Lao Tzu, Sakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Bodhisattva, the Elders of Venus, Jesus Christ, etc. get together.

Note:
Gō-sōnen : Karmic thoughts which came to exist when we defined ourselves as physical entity. They have been accumulated in the subconscious realm of humans from the past lives up to the present. See the ‘Fading Away’ Principle at the end of this passage.
Kieteyuku Sugata : The process of fading away, literally translated, which is the essential view and practice of the ‘Fading Away’ Principle of the Prayer for World Peace of Goi Sensei.
至聖先天老祖 : The Deity worshipped by the believers of ‘世界红卍字会’ or Red Swastika Society that originated in China in 1922. (Reffered to Wikipedia)
Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Kami : Literally transalted as “King of the August Center of Universe” is a Omnipotent in Japanese mythology. (Modified from Wikipedia)

Even if you are lying in bed or doing nothing in particular, the Prayer for World Peace is functioning.
Traditionally, you must go to a shrine and clap your hands to pray. They say that if you do not join hands in front of the divine altar, it’s not a prayer. It’s so unnatural. The Dieties are vividly working in the entire universe. They are vibrant and dynamic all the time.
So, the Great Light of Salvation. How does it work? It works as the Prayer for World Peace. The Prayer for World Peace resonates in the whole Universe and is the Mind of the Dieties.
The Dieties desire to bring peace to the world, and that is Their role, Their idea, and Their will. So we should live our lives in accordance with that. We should live our lives so that world peace will be realized.
It would be troublesome if you recited the whole prayer every time from morning till night. Even if you do not repeat it, when you think of world peace, the prayer resonates in your mind.
When it becomes your daily, alltime practice, you will get up in the morning so refreshed and go to sleep at night so soundly. You will even have good dreams. If you have bad dreams, they are Kieteyuku Sugata; your karma in your past lives is being driven out by the Divine Light to vanish. The more they disappear, the brighter your mind becomes.
Where does the Divine Eternal Life exist? It does in the Prayer for World Peace. Why is it so? It is because the Prayer for World Peace is the Divine Hope and Principle for humanity.

(IV)

When you pray the Prayer for World Peace, it relates to yourself, to your Eternal Life, to the Life resonating eternally, and to yourself who are living, here and now.
All the good and bad things that are appearing now, and all the things taking place in this world, have nothing to do with your present self. They are Kieteyuku Sugata, the debts, good and bad karma from your previous lives now appearing and flowing away to vanish. The only thing that is relevant to you now is to come into the Divine.
When you enter the Prayer for World Peace, you come into the Divine. When you enter the Prayer for World Peace, it relates to your eternal self and your present self. Do you understand?
Thinking of the Divine at the moment, now, is letting the Eternal Life live in you and opening up your future destiny.

‘The Word is God Himself.’ So, His mind comes alive in the words: “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” His mind is working in the phrase as it is.
When you pray the Prayer for World Peace, the Divine Mind will shine forth brightly. The word is really significant.
Here, what I mean by the word is not words spoken by people. It is the thoughts that is important.
When you think, “Oh, may that person become a fine person,” the light of love shines brightly. When you pray, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” the golden Light of Great Divinity shines brightly. ‘The Word is the Divine Itself and the Light Itself.’
When we pray the Prayer for World Peace, the Divine Light will extend throughout the universe and permiate across the Earth horizontally to purify Gō-sōnen to prevent war and natural disasters from occurring on Earth. It may sound strange to call it a command, but the Divinities told me to advocate praying the Prayer for World Peace.
So I started to pray this simple phrase: “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”

(VI)

The Prayer for World Peace is not denominational in any way. It also transcends all ethnic groups. An absolute prayer that transcends everything. That is the Prayer for World Peace, isn’t it?
Such a straightforward truth, such easy words, have not appeared before because the right time did not come.
The time did not come because it was not clear what Shugo-rei and Shugo-jin* were. In the conventional religions, no one has ever made clear separations in the Divine; the distinction between Shugo-rei and Shugo-jin, between the Divinities of Salvation and the Divinities of Law, between Gō-sōnen and Hon-shin°, and further between the inner divinity and the outer Divinities. It is the first time. It is from these separations that the Prayer for World Peace comes to life.
Also, you need to realize that it is not a physical body that is advocating this prayer. Masahisa Goi as a physical person is carefree. He wakes up in the morning, washes his face, has breakfast, and comes out to the stage. This is a vessel, you know. It’s like a machine. Who is it that speaks, purifies, and instructs the Tōitsu Jisshūkai°? It is an organization of guardian deities in the divine realm. It has absolute authority.
It does not matter at all if you are joking around with Mr. Goi of the flesh. I am easy and carefree. I joke around with children; they pull my nose, they twist my mustache. I laugh about it because we are the same. You and I are no different. However, the Light of Dai-kōmyō-reidan that is working here is wonderful.
And I don’t know when I started advocating the Prayer. It’s funny that I don’t remember when my teaching started and when the Prayer for World Peace started. Without knowing it, I teach Kieteyuku Sugata, and I pray the Prayer for World Peace.
Ordinarily, we would have a ceremony to celebrate the number of years we have been teaching the prayer, but I don’t know when the teaching was established. It was countless billions of years ago that it started. It is only now that it has come into existence. It’s just this physical body that is acting as an agent between the Divine and humanity.

Note:
Shugo-rei and Shugo-jin : The guardian spirits and guardian divinity who always protect and guide a person for his or her salvation. Goi Sensei teaches us that your main Shugo-rei, or guardian spirit, is your spiritual parent and an awakened spirit of your ancestor and that Shugo-jin are guardian divinities, branched out from Choku-rei, or the Direct Spirit, to cooperate with Shugo-rei to develop the person’s Hon-shin. See also the ‘Fading Away’ Principle at the end of this file.
Hon-shin : The true mind, literally translated, is the divine self of a person, or real you, that comes from the Divine world.
Tōitsu Jisshūkai : Unification Practice Meetings which were held regularly at the Dōjō in Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan.

The Prayer for World Peace

May peace prevail on earth.
May peace be in our homes and countries.
May our missions be accomplished.
We thank you, Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits.
